Boris Špoljarić is graduate engineer of construction by profession. He was born in Rijeka (Croatia) on December 20th, 1960.

He’s engaged with cinology from April 1974., when he got his first dog, a Šarplaninac. He became a judge 1979, and an all-round judge on the 2003. He judged in most European countries, as well as in Asian, North and South America, Africa, Australia and New Zeland.

He has written three books on dogs: “Croatian dog breeds” (1993), “Jazavičar (Dachshund)” (1993), “Hrvatska kinološka baština (Croatian cinological heritage)” (2008).
